How to Play
Choose five numbers from 1 to 70 and one number from 1 to 24 for your Mega Ball. To win the Mega Millions jackpot, match the six numbers on your ticket to the drawn six-number combination (five numbers plus the Mega Ball).
Winning draw game tickets expire one year from the date of the draw.
Mega Millions Drawing Schedule
Mega Millions® drawings are held Tuesdays and Fridays at 11 p.m. Eastern Time, 10 p.m. Central Time, 9 p.m. Mountain Time, 8 p.m. Pacific Time. Drawings are held at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. Check with your state lottery for the cut-off time to purchase tickets; it will vary by jurisdiction.
Mega Millions Jackpot Prize
There are nine ways to win in Mega Millions®, and prizes range from $10 to $10 million, plus the variable jackpot. The $5 ticket price includes a built-in multiplier for all non-jackpot prizes, which may be 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X; it is randomly assigned and shown on your ticket. Claim Jackpot
Annuity option: The Mega Millions annuity is paid out as one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments. Each payment is 5% bigger than the previous one. This helps protect winners’ lifestyle and purchasing power in periods of inflation.
